First elected to the Montana House of Representatives at age 21, John Brueggeman became Majority Whip of the chamber at 23, making him the youngest person in any state holding a legislative leadership role. He went on to serve in the State Senate, chairing the Transportation Committee. In all, Brueggeman spent 10 years in the Montana Legislature with a focus on transportation and information technology policy. This led to a position overseeing legislative and regulatory initiatives as Director of California Government Affairs for the Specialty Equipment Market Association and being recruited by 3M Company’s Motor Vehicle Systems and Services.

Brueggeman now serves as MVSC’s Vitu Division President. Based in Portland, he has been leveraging his extensive legislative, regulatory and technology expertise to lead MVSC’s initiatives in Oregon and to establish and strengthen MVSC’s relationships with government partners throughout the United States. Brueggeman is bringing MVSC into the national spotlight as he develops the necessary public and private partnerships, thereby positioning MVSC to successfully introduce leading-edge technologies into new states.
